Sometimes when discussing non canon gay/lesbian ships with other people I’m met with the whole “oh that can’t happen because they’ve only shown interest in/had a romantic partner with/flirted with the opposite gender so your fantasies are invalid” and I’m like ???

There’s something called bisexuality??

And pansexuality???

There are so many other options other than gay and straight like wut????

I regret to say I was one of those people when I was like 14, and then I realized bisexuality and pansexuality were a thing… needless to say I never used that argument again
