I told myself I would finish at least this comic before the hell weeks start and my spare time is eaten up by responsibilities, and I did it. I finished it!
I was very happy with some of the faces I drew for facial expressions practice and I did not not want to use them for something, so I made this for that reason. :v
Gabriel watched Genji tumble to the floor in a crumpled heap, his sword spinning from his hand. Athena concluded the simulation, and the dummy bots slumped into standby mode, returning to their stations. Gabriel sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose in frustration as the simulation results popped up in front of him. He didn’t need them to tell him what he already knew. Genji’s assessments all read the same.
I imagined this as Jesse’s first mission next to his mentor. For Gabe is something very unusual when the puppy gets silent, lost in thoughts, so he simply has to remind him that leaving his past life behind was the right thing to do. 🙂
Had the idea to draw a little comic for this zine since the start and I’m glad I was able to make it in two pages.
Also, I’m happy to finally share it with you all! 🙂
A special thanks to the amazing @kikissh who pointed me some major layout suggestions and in general to all the @blackwatchzine crew for the spectacular job on the zine and to my friends @agenericguy, @temple-secrets and @lilized for the support and some final fixing in the text. Ahah! Love you all, guys. You’re the best!
Thanks to everyone who purchased the zine and supported the amazing artists and writers who worked to make this possible. It’s been epic!
