Biggest Hopes for Kingdom Hearts 3

-Everyone gets a happy ending. Lea’s reunited with his friends (A freed/reformed Isa included, please. I just hope Lea and him can forgive each other, and rebuild their friendship. If Isa ends up dying, I expect them to forgive each other right as Isa fades.), they save the BBS trio, Sora,Kairi, and Riku get their peaceful ending as much as possible. All that sappy shit.

-Don’t pull something like ‘Oh, Xehanort has this failsafe magic trap to screw over whoever kills him on the off chance that occurs’ that sucks one of our protagonists into the Realm of Darkness or something like that. I have heard that this is just the last game in the Xehanort saga, but I swear I’ll die if we get some cliffhanger ending for the next game and have to wait another 5-16+ years for resolution.

-Organization XIII members that weren’t in 3D to show up. Either have them be members of the New O-XIII or perhaps have them take up residence in Twilight Town or maybe have them show up in a big damn heroes moment. (Like say Xigbar has Sora pinned and under fire, when all of a sudden we hear: ‘Dance water dance!’ followed by Xigbar getting comically soaked and shocked. Then maybe have Marluxia and Luxord both attack him.)

-Speaking of the Organization, I want Even to get a scene with Lea. Kinda see if he takes his pseudo-death at the hands of Axel as well as Ienzo did. (I kinda think it would be darkly funny to see Even sprinting down the hall in a panic while Lea’s in hot pursuit and trying to apologize for the earlier immolation.)

-Kairi and Lea training montage. Consisting of her chasing him around with her Keyblade looking like she’s about to clobber him over the head with it, and him running away while frantically trying to apologize for kidnapping her. (Since she seemed none too thrilled that he would also be joining in with Keyblade training.)

-Possibly see an attempt at betrayal from Braig/Xigbar? Maybe try to take Master Xehanort’s Keyblade or something. ReCoded’s secret ending had him get a sort of hungry look in his eye when Young Xehanort brought it up, and he also mentioned he had his own plans, but we don’t know what those plans are. (And tbh, he seems the type.)

So I was talking about it with my brother, and I’m having this feeling (now that I think about it) that Isa tried to escape the Organization at one point. (And maybe Lea tried to join him)

YMX says they were able to track Sora in DDD because he had the X sigil on his clothes.

Well Saix has an X directly on his face, obviously. I have a feeling he tried to escape, and Xemnas scarred his face so they’d have track of him at all times, and he wouldn’t have a way to remove the sigil. It’s scarred on his f a c e.

That just makes me really sad for him honestly. That’s probably part of why he doesn’t leave the castle or go on missions (that we know of) because he’s not allowed to leave. If he tried, Xemnas / Xehanort would just come back for him. They know where he is all the time.

I think if Isa could have escaped the Organization, he would’ve. But because they had track of him, he was completely unable to leave. It would be pointless. Now he’s just completely brainwashed and I just think he doesn’t know how to turn back.

This scene is exactly why I hate the HD remake apart from the blatant removal of Saïx’s boss fight because this is literally my favorite scene in the entire game.

Saïx: You cannot help your comrade. Xion will not wake up.

[Roxas looks down and shakes his head.]

Roxas: That’s not the point! I should still be with her.

[He tries to run again.]

Saïx: What do you care? The creature is broken. Defective.

[Roxas stops and turns around.]

Roxas: Don’t call her that!

Saïx: I’ll call that thing whatever I want. How we deal with Xion is no concern of yours.

Roxas: I didn’t ask you if it was!

Saïx: Look at you, Roxas. Up in arms over a nobody.

Roxas: We’re all Nobodies!

Saïx: Settle down. Xion’s failings won’t affect your standing with us. You’ve nothing to worry about.

Roxas: Won’t affect my— What is WRONG with you? Look, I’ll do my mission—later.

dis scene. dis fucking scene is a giant insight into the differences in their psychology and how warped Saïx has become, and even Roxas calls him out on it.

He cannot understand how Roxas can be concerned for someone who has no use and why simply being there for them means anything. If you are useless, you are nothing.

He thinks it’s entirely illogical to be at Xion’s side because her uselessness won’t affect Roxas negatively unless he puts off his work for her sake and there’s nothing Roxas can do to help her so why waste the effort; it wouldn’t make any sense.

His thinking is completely self-centered and “logical" while Roxas is being entirely selfless and human.

Saïx got all his scenes with Axel, but in return, all the scenes with Roxas that were skipped over ruin the remake for me since those two really develop each other and define each other as characters. imo.
