i saw someone make a comic about waluigi willingly declining to be in smash bros and i like that because it ties into this concept on tumblr that waluigi is just a dude who’s content with a fulfilling normal life which we know nothing about.

wario asks him like “hey you wanna join me in this fighting tournament where you can get your ass kicked by all sorts of legendary fighters and monsters for no tangible benefit?” and waluigi is just like “thanks for inviting me bro but i’ve got a full time job and i can’t take that much time off, plus we’re having my niece’s birthday party at chuck-e-cheese on thursday, but hit me up if you wanna play tennis this weekend”
