[W101] What “Kan Davası“ actually means

storm-magic:

There was something my mind told me when I first heard about the “law” that Malistaire the Undying talks about upon entering Darkmoor.

It sounded like it could be Arabic of a sort, but upon checking with my language studies, turns out it is Turkish, and it actually means something.

It appears to roughly translate to ‘blood feud’. “Kan” means ‘blood’, while “Davası” (The dotless letter resembling ‘i’ is NOT pronounced like in English or phonetically, it has its own spelling, one which doesn’t correspond to English. The same pronunciation yet not the same letter is also included in my mother language too, since my language had a lot of Turkic influence.)  means ‘feud’.

So the badge you receive after completing Darkmoor is “Victor of the Blood Feud”.

Pretty smart of KI, not gonna lie.
