By which do you mean the headcanons themselves are angsty or when Nathan or Warren is angsty?  Either way a lot of these will be mental health based…

• A lot of Nathan and Warren’s arguments have to with Nathan’s mental health: Nathan not taking his meds, missing therapy appointments, Nathan self-medicating, etc
• A few of the fights got so bad that one thought the other was going to end things
• Their worst fight ever occurred when Nathan was coming down off a high and hadn’t taken any of his proper meds in weeks even though he’d sworn to Warren that he was
• Warren told Nathan he needed some space for a few days or he’d do or say something he’d regret
• When Warren didn’t return his calls the next morning, Nathan scheduled his first therapy appointment in over a year
• He essentially didn’t leave Victoria’s side while Warren was away because he didn’t trust himself to be alone
• Warren acted like he just relaxed for a few days on his own.  He never told Nathan that he actually spent those days crying, panicking, and not doing much of anything else
• After some time, with Nathan working on getting proper meds, therapy, and so on, things started looking up
• Though the first time after that when Nathan had his first downward spiral, it was made worse by him assuming that Warren was going to leave him for his mental health being an issue
• And when Warren discovered that, he felt like the biggest asshole
• Warren attempted to make up for it by getting Nathan’s favorite food, sitting down to watch Nathan’s favorite show, and cuddling the rest of the night

I know it’s Max’s nightmare so it’s probably… exaggerated but I like to believe that Nathan genuinely does have a creepy fucking Joker laugh like that, because let’s be real here, Warren would love it and it would be constantly trying to get Nathan to laugh just to hear it

OH MY GOD YES I HAVE SO MANY!  So these are from a headcanon AU I have where Nathan either gets kicked out or moves out of the Prescott Estate asap to get away from his father.

• They start out in a shitty little apartment, the kinda place Nathan never thought he would live at.  Warren tries to make the place as comfortable for Nathan as he can. Tries to decorate as well as he can on a budget, tries to find nicer furniture.  He spends a lot of time thrift shopping and Nathan totally appreciates the effort.
• Nathan doesn’t know how to cook, clean, do laundry, etc.  He grew up with a nanny, maids, butlers, etc.  He never needed to know how to do that stuff.  So Warren has to teach him and enlists the assistance of his parents.
• And of course there’s a lot of burnt food, tasteless food, overcooked and undercooked food.
• One time, when Nathan was trying to be nice, he washed some clothes while Warren was at work and ended up shrinking some of the clothes.  He was terribly upset by this.
• Then it’s back to the thrift store to buy more clothes.
• They spend a little over two years in that tiny, crappy apartment.  But eventually, Nathan gets an associate degree, gets a decent job, and they move into a cute little house together.
• While packing for the move, Nathan finds a ring box in the bedside drawers.  It’s a simple little white-gold band, but he knows full-well what it means.
• He tries to pretend he hadn’t found anything but he starts acting different, being abnormally mushy and anxious because now that he knows what’s going to happen, he wants Warren to pop the question like NOW dammit.
• The first night in their new house, when everything is still in boxes and they’re both utterly exhausted, Nathan breaks down and tells Warren what he found.
• Not exactly what Warren had planned, but hey they’re engaged.
• But not for long because they have a courthouse wedding.  Very small.  Just Warren’s parents, Kristine and Victoria.
• And Nathan takes Warren’s last name.
