miguel/hector reverse AU doodles.
Miguel is Imelda’s younger brother who’s gone missing(dead) from long ago, and hector’s a young musician who accidentally fell into the land of the deads while on tour(in this au, coco is little older than the original story so hector gets to go on a short tour without having trouble with imelda. He’s on middle-end of 20’s?)
They don’t get to notice each other at the first place because hector never heard anything about miguel from imelda/miguel’s never seen hector before because he couldn’t cross over the bridge ever since he died
Anyway, miguel decides to help the poor mariachi who got stuck with the deads while on his way back home.
(Yes the timeline and the family tree is kinda fucked up but this is all I have in my head for now.)
