I think the moment that truly ruined me was when after Michael faked his death, Trevor had literally no one.

Brad was “caught” by the police.
Michael was “dead”
Michael’s children would be gone too, making Trevor wonder how they would grow up forgetting him despite how much he probably loved them both.
And Trevor’s mom was god knows where, location normally unknown anyway..

No wonder he fears abandonment, it pretty much was occurring throughout his whole life.
