It seems like a lot of people forget that Roxas was A. Technically there to see this (as shown sulking in the manga) and B. He watched his bestie die and that very, very likely fueled his rage when he abruptly fought Sora.

AWEJOAIWJOGIEWG DO YOU UNDERSTAND MY NEED FOR AXEL’S KH3 REDESIGN?? I NEED IT. FOR A GUY WHO’S FUCKED UP AND LOST SO MUCH, HE SHOULD AT LEAST GET SOME NEW DIGS ON HIS ROAD TO REDEMPTION ;3;.

It took me quite a while to figure out a design I liked enough for him. I am definitely not a fan of giving him bright colours like he had when he was younger (plus i will bang my head against a wall if i see him in FULL ORANGE AND BEIGE again, IS2G) so I stuck with the greys, and colour accents. I want to show off his arms ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) And yes i’m pushing my AkuRoku agenda with that brooch, fucking fight me.

I need him to have a transforming keyblade, but I decided to stick with it being a chakram ‘cause honestly that’s his thing ;D I was playing on the idea of having two stages of transformation (’cause i think Sora’s will be doing that too?) so what if he gets his original chakrams back in the first stage, and the final form would be one giant chakram aw yisss. Also I fucking love the Phoenix theme for Axel because the whole death-and-rebirth thing suits him far too well to over look (☉‿☉✿)
