Anakin: YOU TELL ME WHERE MY LIGHTSABER IS, WOMAN! WE ARE TALKING ABOUT THE GREATER GOOD!
Padmé: GREATER GOOD?! I AM YOUR WIFE! I’M THE GREATEST “GOOD” YOU ARE EVER GONNA GET!
Star Wars / Winter Soldier AU for anon! (this was literally the first thing that came into my mind when I saw the trailer for Winter Soldier too :D) with Obi-Wan as Captain Alliance and Anakin as… the Imperial Soldier? the Winter Sith??
There’s just something about messy-haired dudes with metal arms who wear a lot of black… (although I think the key difference is that Anakin’s turn was of his own volition, which would put an interesting spin on the Steve-and-Bucky dynamic in this AU)
You all know I love Star Wars, its family story, its tragedy, the epic adventure, the fall and redemption of Vader/Anakin but…but..in my mind there will always be a little room for AUs where Anakin kills Palpatine when he has to, no one of my favourite characters dies, everyone is happy.
