I hate to create even more discord about the Bullseye mchanzo
fanzine, but I need to put my thoughts about it into words to sort out my feelings on the issue. This will most
likely be the only post I make about this, because lord knows there’s enough of
them in the tag as is.

I always want to believe the best of any given situation,
and I tend to give people the benefit of the doubt. Call me naïve if you want,
but I always try to assume the best about something until I’m presented with irrefutable
evidence to the contrary. And unfortunately, this has been the case here.

What Lynn allegedly did is nothing less than a crime.
Literally. She lied to her customers by claiming their money would go to
charity only to use that money for personal purchases. She continues to claim it is all a
misunderstanding while providing neither dates on her evidence nor a
counterargument against the heap of evidence against her. She had sole ownership
of the fanzine’s PayPal account as well as sole creative control. When Ghost
quit Lynn refused to take on another co-mod and instead maintained sole
ownership of the blog, assumingly to bury the charity fraud. She did not
relinquish ownership of the blog’s Discord for this same reason, with the looming
threat that the server may be deleted without warning. The list goes on.

I’m disappointed. I’m angry. I’m disgusted. My trust has been broken, along with the trusts of
everyone else involved in the zine, whether they be consumer, judge, or
contributor. So much hard work went into the Bullseye zine. So much money was
spent supposedly for a good cause. We came together to celebrate a pairing we
all love, but what we got instead was fraud, lies, and scams. It’s a damn
shame.
